2. Join A Company With A Global Footprint
In today’s economy with the internet, social media and smartphone technology you need to play on the biggest playing field you can. This requires important due diligence. Thinking that a company has a big global reach because of its online presence is a BIG trap that people fall for. Sales might look good for a company and they may say “we are open for business in 20 countries” but 80% of sales could still all be in their home country.
Firstly, there is a difference between how many countries a company does business in, and how many countries they are open in. Some companies will ship a few thousand dollars a month from head office, and say they are open there for business.
Ask these questions…
How many countries do they have an office and corporate staff in? In how many countries do they do more than $100,000 a month in sales? How many countries do they do more than $1,000,0000 a month in sales? Are the products registered in those countries? What type of income would their top 10 distributors in those countries earn?
In a good global opportunity, I would like to see at least 30 countries doing more than $100,000 a month, which suggests there is viability in those markets, and there is some traction. Then at least 10 countries doing over 1 million dollars a month, which shows those markets are profitable and have traction.
Preferably, there are markets open on each continent, and there are successful leadership teams in each market.
3. Ask For Referrals
It is amazing how many people do not even ask the question. If you do not ask – you do not get.
Ask prospects if they would refer your product or opportunity to others. They might not yet be interested in buying your products or joining your opportunity, but may know someone who is.
Every conversation you have with a prospect you should be thinking “POTENTIAL REFERRAL”.

6. Create List Categories
How you manage your list will be the factor which decides whether you will succeed or fail. If you want to succeed in network marketing you want to format your list into categories. You should have a boiling hot market, a warm market, a lukewarm market, a cold market, and an icy cold market.
In each of these categories, I like to group them into sections like “open-minded”, “successful”, “entrepreneurial”, “customers”, and “referrers”. For example, it might be that “Pete” is a great mate who has been personal training me for 5 years. He fits into the “warm market”, is an “open-minded” business person with a good network and is a great “referrer”.
The reason for the detail is essential for the way you approach each person. You see, it is not a one size fits all approach to your list. Therefore, take the time to physically create your list ON PAPER, not in your head. Then set up your categories and then put them into sections to assist you on how you are going to approach different people.
SUCCESS TIP: Start with boiling hot to warm markets first. If you are not prepared to do this, you’ll need to review your business opportunity because it merely means you do not have belief in what you are promoting. (You’ll see why below)

Personal Growth Is About Building And Developing A Skills Mindset. Skills are learned, and you can use them to build and develop a mindset to successfully work through any challenge.
Most people go through life thinking "oh I'm not good at that" and they shy away from confronting and shining a light on what they're not great at. And so that means they're completely limited in what they're able to look at. If you're never willing to look beyond your existing circle of competence, you're never going to venture into uncharted waters.
